Reminder emails come from U Optical <reminders@notify.uoptical.ca>. If you reply, your reply goes to info@uoptical.ca. Any button in a reminder email opens a page on appointments.uvisiongroup.com, our appointment website.
What a real reminder looks like
Every reminder starts with our name and uses your first name. It gives your doctor, the date, the time and the address of your appointment. For example:
U Optical (clinic Site): Hi first name, your appointment with Dr. name is on day, date at time at address. Reply YES to confirm, NO to cancel. To reschedule, call 416-292-0336. Cancellation fee may apply with under 24 hours’ notice. Reply STOP to opt out.
What our reminders will never ask for
Our reminders will never ask you for:
- your health card number;
- payment, or credit card or banking details;
- a password or a code.
If a message asks for any of these, it is not from us. Do not reply to it.
